Surfers against sewage x Cantina Del Sabor
We are proud to announce we have joined forces with Surfers Against Sewage to be part of their Ocean Network.
Cantina Del Sabor is more than tacos. We’re inspired by California’s surf and street food scene, and just like Cali, we believe in looking after our oceans.
12 million tonnes of marine litter and plastic enter the oceans EVERY YEAR.
We are just at the start of our journey, one beach clean at a time but we want to work with experts in the community to ride the wave further against pollution.
What is the Ocean Network?
The Ocean Network is a membership for businesses committed to making an impact for the UK’s wild waters. Working with other brands and businesses to tackle sewage, plastic and chemical pollution in our waterways.
As part of the Ocean Network, Surfers Against Sewage share resources and knowledge with us to help show us how we can do more as a business.
Come back for more on what we are working on with The Ocean Network.
And at the end of the day, because tacos taste better on clean beaches!
Who are Surfers Against Sewage?
Would you get in waters if it were filled with sewage? If you have swam in the UK, you probably already have.
Surfers Against Sewage or SAS began as a response to the surfing community in the UK finding themselves swimming in raw sewage.
It is now a nationwide Ocean Activist community fighting to see the ocean thrive. Now they are focussing on a few areas; from sewage pollution, plastic pollution to data capturing making sure campaigners have the facts.
