Quick Carne Asada Beef Tacos

Tender strips of beef marinated in smoky spices and seared to perfection in minutes. Pile them high and a squeeze of lime for that bold, Cali-style hit.

Shopping List

400g Beef strips
Rapeseed oil for frying
Olive oil spray for air frying
Cantina del Sabor carne asada dry rub (80g)
Cantina del Sabor Cali Street Corn Tacos

For the salsa

3 Large tomatoes, chopped
1 White onion, diced
1 or 2 Chillies or Jalapenos, diced
Handful of coriander, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Pinch of salt and pepper

Let's get Cooking

PREP

Add your Carne Asada rub into a bowl and fully coat your beef strips.

Pan Fry

For pan frying, heat some rapeseed oil in a pan over a medium to high heat, when sizzling, add your beef strips.

Stir fry in a pan for 3-4 minutes until the meat is crispy before removing and serving.

OR

Air fry

For air frying, line your tray with foil before placing your beef strips in the basket.

Spray with your olive oil spray before cooking at 200 degrees for 6 minutes.

HEAT YOUR TORTILLAS!

While your toppings cook, make sure you heat your tortillas!

In a frying pan over a high heat, add a little oil before heating each of your tortillas for about 40 seconds on each side until you golden with some dark spots.

Wrap in a clean tea towel to keep soft before serving.

IT’S SALSA TIME!

In a serving bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, chilli/jalapenos, coriander and juice of your lime and mix together.

Set them aside in the fridge until you’re ready to serve, season with salt and pepper before serving.

Load
